UPDATE: Missing Benton woman found

Update: Benton Police say Angelina Shirey has been found safe.


BENTON, AR – Officials from the Benton Police Department are searching for a missing woman.

According to reports, 19-year-old Angelina Shirey has not been seen or heard from since September 27th.

Angelina is approximately 5’ 4” tall, 150 lbs., and has short, red, curly hair. She was last seen wearing a maroon Hollister brand hooded style jacket, blue jean shorts, and white tennis shoes. Angelina is believed to still be in the Benton and Saline County area.

Anyone with information on Angelina’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Benton Police Department at 778-1171 or 315-TIPS. Individuals also may send an anonymous tip about his whereabouts to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.

WOW!!! It sounds like she might be really messing up according to your last couple comments santiago. I hope she'll get the help she needs and get her life streaghtened out. The drug scene is a dead end street. Sad to see people in that situation.

Two missing persons found safe in the same day. Thank the Good Lord for that. The out come could have been so much different. It's refreshing to hear good news. I wish we could hear a lot more of the good in the world and not so much bad.

shes staying at 516 5th street at the crack heads house.Two days ago she was messed up bad in the back yard.

as i said before ill say again the family better hire a private invegester because benton police cant find there butt with there hand im suprised they can find the police station each morning they cant look for girl to busy out giveing out speeding tickets going 3 miles over limit or start some program not doing anyone any goodjust so they can get t v time on news so sick of seeing that punk lt. russell or as hes known lt howedy dooty i pray the family finds the girl

She hasnt been seen or heard from since Sept. 27th, and its just now being made public. WTF?

If "they" think she is still in the Benton area, is she handicapped or otherwise impaired. Why else would she be considered missing? I do hope this pretty girl is OK and is located soon. God Bless her and her family.
