SALINE COUNTY, AR - Two brothers were killed in Saline County Sunday afternoon.

Investigators are trying to piece together a crime neighbors call shocking.

Deputies found the bodies of the two brothers in a wooded area just after 3 Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses say the two victims were driving ATVs when someone shot them to death.

The Saline County Sheriff says the two brothers lived in the area.

One witness, who didn't want to be identified, believes she saw the suspect running from the crime scene.

"He jumped the fence and made a beeline," she said. "My dog wanted to attack him, my pit bull, but she didn't bite him. He didn't even look at her. His mind was set."

Sheriff Cleve Barfield believes they caught the only person involved in the brothers' deaths, but he wouldn't talk about how it happened or a possible motive.

Both bodies were sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsies to determine a cause of death.
