Update: Police Say Shooting Victim's Injuries Appear Life-Threatening

Police say they believe the passenger of a red SUV occupied by four people could be the gunman, but currently have no further suspect information.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 4 p.m. Friday.

The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) responded to the call in the 5300 block of West 12th Street, where they found a man slumped over the wheel of a white Cadillac, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Police say they believe the passenger of a red SUV occupied by four people could be the gunman, but currently have no further suspect information.

Gunfire reportedly began at Madison Heights apartments, just a few blocks southeast of where police found the victim.

An onlooker at the scene described the shooting as "Beef between the streets."

Police say the man was taken to UAMS with injuries they believe to be life-threatening.
