If A car is parked in a parking spot at the mall and starts to back up, any able bodied person can easily move out of the way. i can guarantee from my trained military experience that it would've taken the same amount of time if not less to pull and fire an entire clip into a car of three people (which is what happened). Secondly for those idiots stating that the safety of mall shoppers was at risk... ARE YOU ALL RETARDED? IF the moving car was a threat what do you think bullets flying through the mall parking lot was? Quality reassurance? You country idiots hear "coke" and read those african american names and think "thug" . Well if everybody that has been in possession of coke should be shot down then the police departments all over america have some making up to do. I cant believe that our tax paying citizens are the first to kick people's constitutional rights out of the door. The officer saw no weapon! And last but not least if someone tried to abduct a girl and her mother had time to go to security which had time to find the off duty police officer and tell him the story, do you really think that someone was being abducted. IT may be rude and disrespectful but i didn't think asking a perfectly legal adult to get into a car was a crime. OR was her mother just offended by the approach and ran to tell security the first thing that came to her mind. None of these sound like reason to fire a full clip into a car with no weapons and a shaky story. Please do better citizens of arkansas!

the cop should have been a little more accurate

The crime isn't about the daughter being seduced into a car with three men. The crime is when a man of law approaches you and you decide to run that's when the crime is broken. Then we the driver pulls out in a reckless manor and is endangering innocent people they broke the law. A car is just as dangerous as a gun. So if they didn't want to stop their vehicle after the officer told them to stop, and if they where endangering others he did nothing but follow his code of ethics and protect the innocent.
