Update: Victim Identified in Garland County Shooting

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Garland County Sheriff’s Office identifies Thursday night’s shooting victim as 26-year-old Travis Skaggs. Skaggs is currently in a Little Rock hospital, condition unknown.

The Sheriff’s Office says they found Skaggs laying on the side of the road near Icom Place and Tatum Street shot, shot multiple times “in a lower extremity.” According to the sheriff’s office, Skaggs said he was visiting a friend on Icom when two men attacked him, to his cash, and shot him as he ran away.

Investigators do not have any motive or suspects in the shooting.
