LITTLE ROCK, AR - The victim in a fatal early morning accident on Cantrell Road has been identified as 37-year-old Tiimothy Woodbury, according to police.

Police say the wreck happened near the intersection of Cantrell and Reservoir. According to reports, the driver of a Nissan Altima was traveling westbound and rear-ended a Mazda Protege. That contact made the Protege veer off into the eastbound lane, where a Ford F-250 carrying a trailer struck the Protege and rolled on top of it. The Protégé then hit another car in the westbound lane.

Police say the driver who died on the scene has not been identified yet.

"Anytime you have a rear-end accident it's usually following too closely. People just may not have been paying attention,” Lt. Terry Hastings with the Little Rock Police said. “Traffic stopped and then rear-end accident occurred. Most of the time it's just a chain reaction."

Lt Terry Hastings says no charges have been filed at this time.
