But today, a well-deserved break.
Women who lost everything in the tornado got a day of pampering and all free thanks to the generosity of strangers who just wanted to help.
While talk of the tornadoes came up during the event, the day was about something else...hair, makeup and clothes.
Anita Wright, who's home was destroyed in the storms said, "It's just overwhelming. The outpouring of love has just been fabulous."
Cindy Eason was one of the women giving back.
The tornado destroyed her Vilonia beauty shop, but not her spirit.
She gave away free haircuts today.
Eason said, "Letting people know that they haven't been forgotten. People are still needing help and it takes time to rebuild."
Wardrobe consultants -- from CAbi -- handed out brand new clothes too.
Tornado victim Jessica Bolen said, "This is really cool. It's like awesome for people to do this for us."
It was a couple hours to get away from it all, before returning back to the reality of rebuilding.
The event took place at the Center Point Freewill Baptist Church in Vilonia.
It was sponsored by the Heart of CAbi Foundation which encourages and empowers women through fashion and compassion.
