NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Argenta District in Downtown North Little Rock has a new library.
The Main Street building that had been a post office for more than 80 years, has undergone more than $4 million in renovations. Library officials say the 15,000 square feet of space the building has will provide a much needed location for meetings and educational programs in the Downtown area.
"I have always felt that the downtowns of any city are what makes the city great and this town downtown needs to grow and we are a part of that expansion," says the North Little Rock Library System Director.
The first art exhibit on display in the library features pictures of the building's original construction in the 1930's.
