Little Rock, Arkansas -
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A Berryville woman has come forward as the winner of a $1 million prize in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.
Nancy Silvers matched five white balls to win the big money.
Her Quick Pick ticket was bought in Eureka Springs at the Rapid Roberts location on E. Van Buren.
Nancy and her husband William came into the Arkansas Lottery Claims Center in Little Rock Monday afternoon to pickup her winnings.
She told lottery officials she first told her husband and then her mother when she discovered her numbers were drawn.
Nancy intends to start enjoying her Powerball prize by paying off some of her debts.
Another Powerball ticket sold in Arkansas for Saturday's drawing won a $10,000 prize. It was sold at the Kum & Go on Old Missouri in Springdale. That lucky ticket matched four of the first five numbers drawn plus the Powerball. The ticketholder has yet to claim their prize.
Even without a top prize jackpot winner in the Saturday Powerball drawing, 1,770 Arkansas players in the game won prizes ranging from $4 to $500. Overall odds of winning a prize 1 in 31.8.
Powerball has risen to $80 million for the Wednesday (April 9) drawing.
