This all stems from a letter Mayor Johnny Mcmahan sent a council member last week asking her to resign over a recent water audit.
At Monday night's council meeting the councilwoman refused to resign and called for a no confidence vote on the mayor which won 3-1.
Mcmahan says he has no confidence in them and residents ought to be concerned.
"This is small town politics. I think this type of activity of not getting along, it goes back to the last 10 or 12 years," says Mcmahan.
Another council member asked to be taken off the checking accounts because of illegal activity but wouldn't go into details until a city audit is complete.
