Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced Monday Benton County man Jammie Albert Tucker, 46, was arrested on Friday on 30 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, a Class C felony.
Tucker was released from the Benton County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
Agents with the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit arrested Tucker after a search warrant at his home on Chestnut Street in Cave Springs.
Investigators took a laptop computer and other electronic evidence that will be analyzed at the Cyber Crimes Unit Forensic Lab in Little Rock.
Special Agent Chris Cone began investigating Tucker earlier this month after suspecting that child pornography was being used at his home.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office and Cave Springs Police Department assisted in the investigation and arrest.
The Attorney General’s Office will turn over its completed case file to Benton County Prosecuting Attorney Van Stone.
Charges are merely accusations and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
