LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are investigating after a child is hit by a vehicle.
It happened shortly after 1 this afternoon at 36th & Foster.
Police say the victim is a 9-year-old boy.
We're told the vehicle that hit him was a black SUV.
Officers on the scene told our crews that the child ran out in front of the vehicle and that the driver tried to avoid hitting him.
The child is expected to be okay and police say the driver will not be ticketed.
