NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are trying to find out who broke into a North Little Rock tire and rim shop early Sunday morning.

It happened near East Broadway and Riverfront streets.

Police say the break ins happened twice, once around 1:00 a.m. then again around 3:00 a.m.

This police report states a two-toned dark and light Chevrolet Silverado backed into the glass windows of Goodride Autocare Center.

On the other side of that window were rims and tires.

Police say four people hopped out of the truck and grabbed some rims and tires then sped off.

About two hours later police say that same truck came back with another truck and the people took more merchandise.

In total these thieves took about $7,000 worth of items from the store.

"This business has it set up to where you can kind of window shop. So you can see all of their merchandise that's inside the building, kind of leaves the opportunity for a suspect," says North Little Rock Police Sgt. Brian Dedrick.

And this isn't the first time this company has been hit.

Police added that if you buy tires and rims off of the internet especially through Craigslist to be aware the products might be stolen.

You could be buying illegal parts that are still registered to the rightful owner and essentially get in trouble.
