Fayetteville Police Arrest Man In Armed Robbery Investigation

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA) - Police have arrested one of three people wanted in connection to an armed robbery.

Julio Gonzales, 35, was arrested Thursday evening for an armed robbery earlier that afternoon.

Investigators are still looking for two more people connected to the crime. They are considered armed and dangerous.

Officers say the trio held up a man near the Lakeside Village Apartments. The man told police the robbers were in a black SUV, and that Gonzales and a black man forced him into the back seat at gun and knife-point.

He says they searched him and stole some items, while the black man held a gun to his cheek, and then forced him back out of the vehicle several blocks later.

We're told the SUV had veterans tags from another state. Early on in the investigation, police also said there may be a woman involved in the crime, and her name is "Stormy Lane." If you have any information on this case, contact police.
