Three People Killed in Woodruff County Wreck Saturday

COTTON PLANT, AR -- Three people have died in an accident in Woodruff County.

24-year-old Clarence Harris of Scott, 23-year-old Rodney Burrell of Little Rock, and 24-year-old Jerold Cross died in the accident.

All three were riding in a car driven by Harris.

It happened early Saturday morning.

According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, the Ford Mustang driven by Harris left the road and hit a culvert before becoming airborne and striking an electrical pole.

It happened on State Highway 38, two miles west of Cotton Plant around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

The investigation is continuing.
