Original Story:
JONESBORO, AR -- Jonesboro police are investigating two shootings that left four people dead and four hurt Saturday afternoon.

According to investigators, emergency crews received a call just after 1:00 p.m. reporting a shooting inside a house on Moore Road in east Jonesboro.

There, responders found six shooting victims.

A man and 13-year-old girl died on the scene.

Four others were shot, including a man and woman and two boys, ages 10 and 8.

A second shooting occurred on Dalton Farmer Drive near U.S. 63 and is believed to be connected to the first shooting.

There, police found a construction worker dead with a gunshot wound.

About two hours after the first shooting, a man was found in a vehicle on County Road 642 with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

That man died on the scene and is being investigated as the possible shooter from both of the other crime scenes.

KAIT reports approximately 45 officers from Jonesboro, Bay, Brookland, Arkansas State Police, and Craighead County Sheriff's office responded to the shooting scenes.

Jonesboro police will update the media at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
