NLR Police Make Arrest in July 15 Shooting Death

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have arrested a man from Scott (Pulaski County) in a July 15 homicide.
Keith Charles Jones, 51, is charged in the shooting death of Charles Lamont Boyd, Jr., 19.
Jones was taken into custody without incident around 7 a.m. today at his home.
Boyd was found lying on the ground between two houses in the 1500 block of W. 15th St. around 8 p.m. that night and died after being taken to the hospital. Police say he had been shot in the chest.
Police say a second man was wounded in the incident but survived and a third person was there when the shots were fired but was not hit.
Jones is charged with 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Battery, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
