North Little Rock armed robberies

- Two armed robberies, two different locations - both in the same city.

Police in North Little Rock are looking for those responsible.

The first crime took place at the Exxon gas station along the 2600 block of Main Street.

Police say a man wearing a hoodie and blue jeans walked into the store and appeared armed.

He ordered the clerk to get on the floor and then attempted to open the register.

Unsuccessful, he told the clerk to open it - which he did.

The crook then grabbed the cash and took off.

Less than 24 hours later, a similar but unrelated crime took place here at the savers on JFK Boulevard.

Police say in this case, a different man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black pants, entered the store carrying a black pistol.

The robber ordered an employee to open the safe - which she did.

He then told her to place all the money into a black backpack, then took off.

If you know anything about either of these crimes, be sure to call North Little Rock Police.
