Police on Hunt for Credit Card Thief Striking around Central Arkansas
By JOSH BERRY | email@example.com
Surveillance pictures gathered from different stores in Central Arkansas show what police say is the same woman using stolen credit cards.
BRYANT, AR - An alleged thief is stealing credit cards, charging thousands of dollars on them and wreaking havoc across Central Arkansas.
Holli Minton owns her own business in Bryant cutting hair.
On May 24th in the parking lot of "Alpha Male", her five month old salon, while her husband and her moved in furniture a thief struck.
"It's when you least expect it," she remarked. "Oh yeah, she's definitely a pro."
Bryant Police have not released a name but have asked people if they can identify the woman seen in surveillance video pictures.
Holli says her purse was taken along with her ID, phone and credit and debit cards.
The thief started wreaking havoc within ten minutes.
Holli explained, "Her first two transactions at Walmart were $1,200 and then another $1,200."
Holli says the thief used both the credit and debit cards to purchase gift cards.
"In total, over $5,500," Holli added.
This business owner though hasn't been the only victim.
The Cabot Police Department Facebook Page says they're looking for the same person that stole from others the very next day. Police claim she used stolen credit cards at Home Depot, Autozone, Phillip 66 and Sears.
According to police, agencies all across central Arkansas have similar cases dealing with possibly the same woman.
This business owner just hopes it ends soon and this thief faces justice.
"It's been the worst experience," Holli shared. "I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through this. It's very violating. It's a terrible feeling... and it's just been an absolute nightmare."
If you know anything about this case you're asked to call police.
