Searcy Man Pleads Guilty in Woman's Murder

SEARCY, AR - A local man has pleaded guilty to a murder that happened last year in Bald Knob.

Benjamin Peirce, 29, was sentenced to 30 years in prison this morning after entering his plea, according to court officials.

Peirce had been jailed for the April 2013 shooting incident that happened at 515 Highway 167 North, leaving an expectant mother dead and a man seriously injured.

Crystal Timberlake, 34, of Ward, died at the scene and Robert Wayne Dixon, 49, was left wounded.

The White County Sheriff's Office said that during the course of processing the scene, detectives found a substantial amount of meth lab components.
