Second Suspect in 2012 Hot Springs Shooting Death Surrenders

-
HOT SPRINGS, AR - A second suspect has turned himself in after an arrest warrant is issued in a 2012 shooting death investigation.

Matthew R. "Matt" Davis, 32, is facing a manslaughter charges in the death of Maxx Anderson, 34.

Davis' sister Andi Davis turned herself in to face the same charge on Thursday.

Police say Anderson died of a gunshot wound to the chest that followed an argument at the home of Andi Davis on Feb. 29, 2012.

Arrest warrants released on Wednesday revealed details about what happened in the incident.

Investigators say while Davis and her brother told them they had given Anderson money to install a home security system, they actually expected him to buy drugs with the $1,200 he was given.

An argument over the alleged deal led to the firing of the shot that killed Anderson.
