SHERWOOD, AR - Police have released photos of a gas station robbery suspect they have yet to identify.

The holdup happened around 12:45 Sunday morning at the Shell Superstop on Warden Road.

The Sherwood Police Department says available video shows the suspect wearing a sock on his right hand, a reversed black and yellow hoodie with the word “Trojans” embroidered on the chest, and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun of unknown caliber.

After he ran from the scene, he got into a waiting vehicle of unknown description, parked on 67/167 Southbound.

Also on Sunday, but in the late evening hours of Sunday, there was a similar robbery in Jacksonville, which lead investigators to believe the two crimes may be related.

Call the Sherwood Police Criminal Investigation Division (501) 834-8799 if you have any information about this incident.
