Update: Arrest in March 31 Pine Bluff Homicide

Update (April 1):
PINE BLUFF, AR - Police have identified the victim and a suspect in a Monday night homicide.

The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) says Corey Lee, 19, was found shot to death in the carport of a home on Linden Street.

By early Tuesday morning, officers had arrested Emmanuel Foster, 28, of Pine Bluff in the case.

Foster is in the Jefferson County Jail and faces a charge of first degree murder.

The PBPD says the motive for the shooting is not yet known.

PINE BLUFF, AR -- There has been a homicide at 18th and Linden in Pine Bluff.

Police officers responded to a shots fired call in the area around 9:30 Monday night. 

While they were on the way to the scene, they received a call from a resident at 1719 S. Linden St. The caller reported that her house had been hit by bullets. When officers arrived they found a man dead in the carport.

The victim's name is not being released until his family has been notified.

Police say there are no suspects. 

Police are still on the scene and investigating. We will update you with more details as they become available.
