Update: Little Rock Police Arrest 2 in February Homicide

(Update, September 18):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Detectives have made an arrest in the homicide of Jon Allen at 5800 Stagecoach road in February of this year.

On Thursday at 1:50 p.m. detectives arrested James Thomas III and brother Dijaun Thomas and both were charged with capital murder.

The brothers were already in custody at the Pulaski County Detention facility on unrelated charges.

Police say information provided to detectives allowed them to charge the brothers.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A local man has died after being found shot inside a car.

Police were called to the scene in the 5800 block of Stagecoach Rd. around 10:15 Thursday night.

The call came in as a possible accident since the victim's vehicle had gone off the road and into some bushes.

While on the way, officers learned that a nurse who had come upon the vehicle and saw the victim slumped over the driver's seat, was giving him CPR.

The incident report also noted that the victim's wife had also come upon the scene because she had been in the area looking for him.

Once rescue workers arrived, it was discovered that Jon Allen, 29, had been shot. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
