Update: Southwest LR Shooting Death Suspect Arrested

(UPDATE April 25 4:04 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - According to Sidney Allen, Ronnie Hervey was taken into custody this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. Hervey was wanted for the murder of Martin Henderson, 38.

Update (April 25):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have released the names of a homicide victim and suspect from an incident on Thursday afternoon.

The victim who died at a home on Rinke Rd. is identified as Martin Henderson, 38.

Police say a homeowner found Henderson lying in his entry way with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died a short time after being taken to the hospital.

The suspect in Henderson's killing is identified as Ronnie Hervey (see photo), who's also known as "100." He's described as being about 5'11" tall and weighing about 212 pounds.

Hervey is known for staying at various motels in Southwest Little Rock. Police say he's considered armed and dangerous. He could be driving a 2000's model 4-door red sedan.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are investigating a shooting death on the city's southwest side.

It happened just after 3:15 Thursday afternoon on Rinke Road. That's east of Geyer Springs Rd. near where it intersects with Mabelvale Cut Off.

The Little Rock Police Department says officers found a "male subject lying on the floor." He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. 

A suspect was not yet in custody as of 4:30 this afternoon, according to police.
