Wife Pleads Guilty In Murder For Hire Case

JONESBORO, AR -- A Jonesboro woman -- accused of plotting to have her husband killed -- no longer faces murder charges.

Instead, Michelle Despain pleaded guilty to three counts of hindering apprehension of capital murder which drops her original capital murder charge.

Officers arrested her in connection to the murder of her husband Marc Despain back in 2011.

Her sentencing date is next month.

She could spend up to 30 years in prison.

Three other people have also been punished for this crime.
