FBI spokesperson Kim Brunell would only confirm that agents were on site at Rogers Photo Archive on 2501 Poplar and a residence at 3700 Avalon, both in North Little Rock.
Agents could be seen taking long cardboard boxes labeled "slugger" with contents sounding like wooden baseball bats jostling inside.
Rogers Photo Archive website says the company is "on a crusade to save the world's great historic archives."
The business website says Rogers "amassed the world's largest privately-held collection of photographic images, a library of 52 million images."
Attempts to reach John Rogers for comment were unsuccessful.
According to the company's website, Rogers is considered one of the preeminent sports memorabilia collectors and traders in the world, acquiring a rare Honus Wagner card in 2008 for $1.62 million.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas said the agency had no comment at this time.
