LITTLE ROCK, AR - The first same sex marriage licenses have been issued by the Pulaski County Clerk's Office.

Tommy and Devin, Mr. and Mr. Baldwin, of Bryant, were near the front of the line and wasted no time having their wedding ceremony right after obtaining their marriage license.

They proudly displayed their marriage license for others who were waiting in line behind them, as well as others gathered to celebrate the historic event.

Dozens more gay and lesbian couples followed the Baldwin's to make their unions official.

The issuing of the licenses was made possible by a ruling on Friday by Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Chris Piazza that the state's ban on same sex marriage was unconstitutional.
