Former Fayetteville Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA)- A fired Fayetteville police officer has pleaded guilty to sexual assault.

Jamison Stiles took a plea deal Friday afternoon to one count of Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, a B felony. He also pleaded guilty to one count of Release or Disclosure to Unauthorized Person, a D felony.

He was sentenced to 60 months of state supervised probation and will be required to register as a sex offender.

He was fired from the department back in December after two women accused him of rape and sexual assault while on duty.
