Police say 21-year-old Cedric Ginger -- from Sheridan -- died from his injuries.
The shooting injured three other men, including Ginger's father and uncle.
The annual Community Jamboree is a popular event -- for kids and adults -- in the Pine Bluff neighborhood near 3rd Avenue and Redbud Street.
Resident Kajuan Pace says he was shocked that a shooting happened during an event meant for the whole family.
He said, "We hate that it happened, something happened like this four shot and one killed in that mix up."
Today crime investigators continue to search the area for clues of what happened.
Police did arrest one man -- Darius Bryant -- in connection with the shooting, but the investigation continues.
Pace stood just feet away from where the shooting happened.
He called the scene crazy and chaotic.
He said, "You just see everyone running, running and tripping up and everything over each other."
Pace can't believe an event built around honoring the elderly in the community turned so tragic.
Pace said, "Though you might not have any regard for your life, at least care about these kids and the older people in the neighborhood."
As one of the neighbors who helps put the Jamboree together, Pace plans to continue planning for next year's event.
He says he refuses to live in fear.
Pine Bluff police did not release a motive for the shootings.
