Helena National Bank Employee Robbed While Servicing ATM

HELENA, AR (News release) - On May 2 at 8:57 A.M., Officers of the Helena – West Helena Police Department responded to a reported robbery at the Helena National Bank located at the intersection of Hwy 49 and Hwy 49-B.

During the robbery, two black male subjects brandishing a small handgun took an undisclosed amount of cash from a bank clerk who was servicing an ATM outside. No one was injured during the armed robbery and the suspects who have yet to be identified are currently still at large.

It was also discovered that the two subjects were accompanied by a third individual, suspected of driving a black newer model four door sedan possibly a Mercedes, but definite make and model unknown.
