On May 8, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Orrick, 31, on charges of residential burglary, theft of property and criminal trespass. The arrest stems from an Imboden home being broken into.
Deputies went to the residence to take the report. The resident reported that a large amount of household items had been taken including several items of silver. Deputies spoke with neighbors and discovered that neighbors had seen Orrick in the area.
Deputies tracked Orrick down and questioned him about the burglary. Orrick confessed to the deputies about the burglary and still had most of the items. The items were recovered, documented and returned to the rightful owner. Orrick is awaiting a bond hearing while being held at the Lawrence County Jail.
