Little Rock Police Make Arrest After Saturday Bank Robbery

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Police have arrested a man following a bank robbery and foot chase shortly before noon.

A man entered the Simmons Bank in the 4700 block of Cantrell around 11:30 a.m. and showed a gun.

The man demanded money and the teller complied.

He then left the bank on foot.

Responders were able to spot the alleged robber and chased him to Indian Hills Trail, where he was taken into custody.

He complained of chest pains and was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

The name of the suspect has not been released.
