Unfortunately he later died at the hospital.
Today the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office has released the victim's name.
He's 34 year-old Jermaine Lamont Harris/Tyus of Conway.
The Faulkner County Sheriff's office says when Jermaine was found he didn't have any sort of identification on him and didn't have a wallet.
When his body was sent to the State Crime Lab they were able to pull his identification through his finger print. Detectives hope this will help in the investigative process moving forward.
"Once we ID'd him now we can go to neighbors and friends and family members and see who he's been hanging out with and kinda what he's been up to and that will tell us a lot in itself," says Chief Deputy Matt Rice.
This is the county's first homicide of the year and they want to keep that number low.
In the past few years they've averaged about 3-6 homicides
With his name and picture released now the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office asks that if anyone knows anything about this case please call them.
