Little Rock Man Arrested in Benton Burglary

BENTON, AR - A Little Rock man suspected in the theft of items from a hotel construction site has been picked up in a traffic stop.

The Benton Police Department (BNPD) says Daniel Crook, 45, faces charges of Commercial Burglary, Theft of Property, No Driver’s License, and Use of Another Person's Property to Facilitate a Crime. 

Police say he also had an outstanding warrant from the BNPD and other charges could be possible as the investigation continues.

Various tools were stolen in the burglary on Sunday morning around 8. The site is next door to the Benton Event Center along I-30. 

Early Monday morning, Crook was pulled over on the I-30 Service Rd. at the intersection with Pinewood Drive. Crook was taken into custody without incident.
