Little Rock Man Wins $125K Lottery Prize

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A local man has won $125,000 from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL).

James Akin bought a $5 "Big Money" scratchoff ticket that was true to its name. He made the purchase at Freeway Mart in Little Rock.

ASL officials say Akin told them he'll spend part of the money to payoff a few bills.
In other lottery news, here are jackpots in upcoming drawings:
  • July 7 Natural State Jackpot - $50,000.
  • July 8 Mega Millions jackpot - $25 million.
  • July 9 Powerball jackpot - $122 million.
