LITTLE ROCK, AR - A local man has won a prize worth $1 million from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Harold G. Thompson of Little Rock found the big money in a $20 "Platinum Payout" scratchoff ticket.

He bought the ticket at the H & J Mart on Arch St. Pike in Little Rock.

Harold told lottery officials he'll use some of his winnings to travel.

In other lottery news, a $235,000 prize is up for grabs in the Natural State Jackpot game tonight. The Powerball jackpot for tonight is $40 million and Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot is up to $270 million.
