Local High School Offers Community Service During Class Reunion

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Typical high school reunions involve people getting together to relive the past, but one Little Rock class decided to help students prepare for their future.

The Parkview High School class of 1994 celebrated their class reunion by giving back to their high school family.

Michelle R. Smith, a Parkview alum, says giving back is part of her Alma Mater's creed.

"In addition to coming together with our classmates, we wanted to do something special for the entering 9th grade students here at Parkview," said Smith. "so we used $10 of our registration fee to buy school supplies for them."

They hope these gifts will help the students get off to a strong start for the school year.
