Little Rock, AR -- Health Care is on the minds of thousands of Arkansans tonight as the deadline to enroll is now 24 hours away. Many local organizations are in their final push to get those who need insurance before the deadline on Monday.
On Sunday, the Better Community Development had licensed in-person assisters at Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church.
"We're trying to get the most information out and help as many people as possible," Kendra Johnson, an in-person assistor, said, "the law has been misunderstood, a lot of people don't realize that if they don't have an income they may be able to get free healthcare."
Johnson along with many others will be at the First Presbyterian of Argenta at 201 W. 4th Street on Monday from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm helping those who still need to enroll.
In-person assisters will also be at William F. Laman Library from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Monday in North Little Rock.
