2 Murders, 1 Shooting Unsolved in Little Rock in Last Week

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - As part our Victory over Violence campaign, we're doing a weekly segment reviewing unsolved crime cases in Little Rock.

For the week beginning Feb. 13, we're tracking these cases.

Last week, an 18-year-old died in what the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) called an attempted robbery at an apartment complex. Four people, including one suspect, were also shot. Investigators say Alec Reed was killed Tuesday night at the Eagle Hill Apartments on Par Drive when a group of people came in to rob three people inside. The LRPD says they've made one arrest in the case but are still searching for two suspects.

Meanwhile, no arrest has been made in a deadly drive by shooting on Wednesday night. Police say Wilford Banks, 29, died after being shot on West 25th Street. Witnesses say they saw someone in a grey Toyota Camry fire the shots.

On Saturday night in the 800 block of Wright Avenue, a restaurant delivery driver for New Fun Ree was shot during a suspected robbery just before 9 p.m. Witnesses say they saw a grey car stop in the area, heard shots fired and then saw the car take off. The victim was in critical condition at last report.
