LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Police are preparing to host an active shooter class on Monday.
The Little Rock Police Department ( LRPD) is sponsoring the "C.R.A.S.E." class at the Immanuel Baptist Church along Shackleford road Monday night beginning at 6 p.m.
"C.R.A.S.E." or Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events is designed to for the average citizen and looks to teach them how to respond when they're in an active shooter situation.
The class is taught in a lecture format and requires no physical activity.
LRPD is encouraging all citizens to attend the training should they ever be caught in an active shooter attack.

LRPD also notes that they would be willing to host more "C.R.A.S.E." classes at other businesses or houses of worship.
