LITTLE ROCK, Ark - Friday, the department of correction hosted an event you don't hear about every day... a resource and job fair for inmates who'll be on their way back into the community soon.
The fair was for inmates housed at the Tucker Unit. In addition to the job search aspect of the fair, the event also included several break-out sessions and a panel discussion on resources and reunification.
Both inmates and families were welcomed.
"We want to give them all the tools they need for a successful transition back into Arkansas communities," Nicole Clark, Re-Entry Coordinator for ADC, said.
This event is an extension of the department's 'Think Legacy Re-Entry' program.
