Arkansas Ticket Wins Mega Millions Jackpot

 

 

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The most valuable lottery ticket ever sold in Arkansas was purchased Friday.

 

Someone bought a Mega Millions ticket  at the All Stop Valero on 2nd Street in Stuttgart that matched all six numbers drawn Friday night.

 That means the ticket is worth $177 million, or $107 million for the immediate payout.

 The winning numbers are: 17, 24, 27, 32 and 58, plus the Mega Ball 10.

 This is the first Mega Millions winner in Arkansas.

 The jackpot resets to $15 million ($9 million cash) for the next drawing on Tuesday.

If claimed, the station that sold the ticket can collect a $50,000.00 selling bonus.

The claims office is closed until Monday.

 

 Mega Millions winners for Mar. 31:

 

    Along with the grand prize winner, one ticket sold matched all five white numbers drawn to win $1 million. That ticket was sold in New Jersey.

 

However, that player did not play the Megaplier option which would have increased their winnings to $3 million.

 

    There were 708,052 tickets sold that won at least $2 in the drawing.

 

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 259 million.

 

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.
