LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Little Rock driver is warning others after he says he was the victim of license plate theft.
This year alone, there have been up to 16 reports of license theft in Little Rock.
Walt Nickels says he noticed his normal organ donor license plate had been swapped, when he couldn't find his car.
Nickels immediately notified police, who told him the plates on his car were reported stolen. "It's also a little bit scary because someone is driving potentially around with my license plate," says Nickels.
He was able to replace his plates. He says he will be investing in theft prevention devices to make sure this doesn't happen again.
