PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Early voting for the new 'Go Forward' Pine Bluff plan begins Tuesday, June 6.
It's for a seven-year, five-eighths of a cent sales tax increase for revitalizing Pine Bluff -- including the downtown area.
The year-long effort has had some opposition from residents, but many with the organization hope it will promote prosperity in the community.
"People have come together and said this is the plan that is going to take us in the right direction, for Pine Bluff," Ryan Watley, CEO of 'Go Forward,' said.
Early voting starts June 6 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Regular voting starts June 13 from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
