LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Local officials are working together on what they're calling "suspicious" fires that burned mostly grass on the city's west side Tuesday afternoon.
Some privacy fences and property in backyards were reported damaged in the fires that stretched for about a mile.
The Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) says its investigators found at least two set points for the fires that were whipped up by windy conditions and threatened homes along Highway 10 near Robinson High School.
Fire department officials are working with the Little Rock Police Department on the investigation.
The LRFD is asking anyone who saw something that afternoon to give them a call at (501) 918-3700.
