LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Tech company familiar to Central Arkansas announced plans to build its new corporate headquarters north of the river.
First Orion, a telecommunications company currently in Little Rock, revealed the design for its future building in the Argenta District along Main Street.
City leaders call it an exclamation point downtown. The new building will sit yards away from the future downtown plaza.
"Whenever you put a couple hundred high-income employees in a downtown in a four or five-block area, it's going to be a huge shot in the arm for the economy," Mayor of North Little Rock Joe Smith said.
The building that will hold First Orion's headquarters will also house retail shops and possibly restaurants.
