One Dead, Three Hurt After Car Hits Deer, Goes out of Control

 

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. -- A man is dead and three people injured after a vehicle went out of control after colliding with a deer.

20-year-old Anthony Joseph Aquilino of Higden died in the accident.

Two other men, including the driver, and a minor female were injured in the wreck.

It happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. 

According to the preliminary crash report from the Arkansas State Police, the vehicle Aquilino was riding in was traveling southbound on State Highway 225 at a high rate of speed when it struck a deer standing in the roadway.

The vehicle ran off the road, then overcorrected and rolled. 

The passengers in the back seats were ejected.
