PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - A Pulaski County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) Jail Deputy accused of striking and kicking an inmate lost her job back in September.
FOX16 learned on Thursday that Shawntosha Elliott was fired Sept. 19 following a hearing in which she was determined to have violated three specific standards.
Deputy Elliott had previously been placed on administration leave after a Code Blue in intake involving the inmate.
According to the PCSO, a witness said they saw Elliott hit and kick the inmate in the facial area, and it was believe that the force used was excessive.
