Pine Bluff Police Seek Help with Cold Case

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - It's been nearly two years since a local homicide and the case remains unsolved.

The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) issued a news release on Thursday asking the public for help with the investigation.

The murder of Darrell B. Lovett, Jr., 32, happened on Aug. 30, 2015 shortly before midnight.

The PBPD says Lovett was found shot to death in his car in the 5000 block of West 3rd Avenue. 

"We feel confident that there is someone out there that has the information we need to bring this case to an end.  Even if you think we already know, please come forward with whatever you have," the release states.
